These terms govern the use of Zepai, an educational platform for designing and validating AI systems through simulated missions. By creating an account you accept the following.
By accessing or using the Zepai platform ("the Service"), you ("the User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
Zepai is an online learning platform that allows professionals to design and evaluate artificial intelligence systems through structured missions, simulations, and automated feedback. The Service is operated by Altiora SpA, headquartered in Chile ("the Company").
To access the Service, the User must create an account by providing truthful, complete, and up-to-date information. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials.
The User is responsible for all activity that occurs under their account. They must immediately notify the Company of any unauthorized use at contact@zepai.io.
The Service is intended for persons aged 18 or older. By creating an account, the User declares they are at least 18 years old.
The Service offers a free plan (Starter) and paid plans (Pro and Teams), whose features and prices are described on the Pricing page. The Company reserves the right to modify prices with 30 days notice.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Payment processing is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, subject to their own terms and conditions. Refunds are governed by the Zepai Refunds Policy, available at zepai.io/refunds.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. The User may cancel at any time from their account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
The User agrees not to: (a) use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes; (b) attempt to circumvent, manipulate, or compromise the evaluation and simulation mechanisms; (c) share, resell, or sublicense account access; (d) upload, transmit, or generate content that is illegal, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or infringes third-party rights; (e) attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or other users' accounts; (f) introduce instructions designed to manipulate AI system behavior ("prompt injection") for malicious purposes; (g) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Service's source code.
All content of the Service — including missions, methodology, software, trademarks, logos, texts, and interfaces — is the exclusive property of the Company or its licensors, protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Designs, responses, and outputs generated by the User during use of the Service are owned by the User. The User grants the Company a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
If the User provides suggestions or feedback about the Service, the Company may use them freely without obligation of compensation.
The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence models (including Anthropic, PBC) to generate evaluations and feedback. The User acknowledges that: (a) AI-generated outputs are indicative in nature and do not constitute professional, legal, technical, or any other type of advice; (b) the Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated evaluations; (c) the User is solely responsible for decisions made based on Service results.
The processing of the User's personal data is governed by the Zepai Privacy Policy, available at zepai.io/privacy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
The Company will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service continuously available. However, it does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, especially during the beta period. The Company may perform scheduled maintenance interruptions with reasonable advance notice.
The User may delete their account at any time from their profile settings.
After deletion, the User will have 30 days to request recovery of their information (mission history, certificates, and profile data) by writing to support@zepai.io. After that period, the Company will delete the User's data from its active systems, unless legally required otherwise.
The Company reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the infraction.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption, arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
The Company's total liability to the User for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from their use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the city of Santiago, Chile.
The Company may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to the User by email or through a prominent notice on the platform with at least 15 days advance notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
